A chamber choir composed of music lovers from all walks of life who enjoy singing together. The Novo Concertante Manila was originally formed as a recital choir. It has evolved into an ensemble determined to reinvent itself continuously as it develops a sound that is artistically intelligent.

The “Novo” is an active member of the MADZ et al. family, participating in the annual festivals organized by the Philippine Madrigal Singers. The choir also hosts the annual Merry Novo Christmas concert.

The choir has represented and won for the Philippines in

international choral competitions and festivals. Novo won a gold medal in the Mixed Chamber Choir category and two silver medals in the Folk Music and Musica Sacra a cappella categories at the 2nd Choir Olympics held in Busan, South Korea in 2002. The Novo Concertante Manila has also won the Grand Prize at the 1st ever Voyage of Songs International Choral Competition held in Genting Highlands, Malaysia is 2003. The group won 1st Prize in the Folklore Category and 3rd Prize in the Open Mixed Choir Category. In 2007, the Novo Concertante Manila won a gold medal in the Folklore Category and two bronze medals in the Renaissance and Romantic Categories at the 23rd Takarazuka International Chamber Choir Competition in Japan. The choir has also been invited in international choral festivals such as the Singapore based Jubilate Choral Festival.

The Novo Concertante Manila is based at the Christ the King Parish in Green Meadows, Quezon City and sings regularly every first and second Sundays of the month, 12:00 p.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively.
